A University of Louisville wide receiver has been released from jail a day after his second arrest in 18 months.

JaJuan Spillman, a 21-year-old junior on the Cardinals football team, was arrested at 12:08 a.m. Thursday and charged with driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon and having no insurance. He was released from the Louisville jail Friday morning.

The arrest came a month after Spillman pleaded guilty to a marijuana possession charge stemming from his arrest Jan. 31, 2007.

University of Louisville spokesman Rocco Gasparro said the school is aware of the arrest and head coach Steve Kragthorpe will address it when he returns from vacation later this week.
