Sylvia Fowles had 20 points and 13 rebounds, and Quianna Chaney added 18 points to lead No. 7 LSU over Kentucky 66-49 in the Southeastern Conference tournament semifinals Saturday night in Nashville, Tenn.
Top-seeded LSU (27-4) will make its fourth consecutive trip to the title game and will play either No. 3 Tennessee or No. 21 Vanderbilt, who played late Saturday.
Kentucky (15-15) got 17 points from Samantha Mahoney.
ALSO SATURDAYMORE WOMEN'S TOP 10NO. 6 STANFORD 64, OREGON STATE 41: Jayne Appel made all eight of her field-goal tries for 19 points and also had 10 rebounds and four blocked shots, leading Stanford past Oregon State (11-19) in the second round of the Pac-10 tournament in San Jose, Calif.
Pac-10 Freshman of the Year Kayla Pedersen added 22 points on 10-for-15 shooting. Stanford (28-3) will play either UCLA or Southern Cal in today's semifinals.
NO. 10 CALIFORNIA 67, OREGON 60: Natasha Vital had 14 points, nine assists and seven rebounds as California held off Oregon.
Alexis Gray-Lawson made four free throws in the final 14.5 seconds to seal it for Cal (25-5), finishing with 14 points.
Cal will meet Arizona State in today's semifinals. The third-seeded Sun Devils defeated Washington 83-64 Saturday.
Taylor Lilley led the Ducks (14-17) with 24 points.
TOURNAMENTSATLANTIC SUNETSU 75, JACKSONVILLE 72: Latisha Belcher had 24 points and eight rebounds to lead East Tennessee State to its first NCAA Tournament berth with a win over Jacksonville in the tournament final in Nashville, Tenn.
TaRonda Wiles added 11 points and nine rebounds, and Siarre Evans had 10 points for top-seeded ETSU (21-11).
Ashley Williams led Jacksonville (23-9) with 21 points.
ATLANTIC 10DAYTON 77, CHARLOTTE 53: Karah Cloxton had a career-high 20 points, and Kendel Ross added 15 to lead Dayton past Charlotte in the quarterfinals in Philadelphia.
Nikki Oakland had 13 points and 12 rebounds, and Kiki Lund added 12 points for the fifth-seeded Flyers (25-7), who advanced to face top-seeded Temple (20-11) in today's semifinals.
Aysha Jones scored 10 points for the No. 4 seed 49ers (18-13).
BIG TENPURDUE 80, IOWA 73: Danielle Campbell scored 20 points, and Purdue overcame a 17-point deficit to beat Iowa in the tournament semifinals in Indianapolis.
Freshman forward Keshia Mosley scored a career-high 18 points, Kalika France had 16 points and 10 rebounds, and FahKara Malone had 15 points for the third-seeded Boilermakers (17-14), who will defend their title against either Illinois or Michigan State.
Kristi Smith led second-seeded Iowa (21-10) with 19 points.
CONFERENCE USANO. 18 UTEP 86, SOUTHERN MISS 69: Natasha Lacy scored a game-high 25 points, and Jareica Hughes added 21 to help UTEP reach the final for the first time with a win over Southern Mississippi (19-13) in the tournament semifinals in Orlando, Fla.
The top-seeded Miners (27-2), who have won 23 straight games, will face No. 2 seed SMU today.
METRO ATLANTICNO. 24 MARIST 78, ST. PETER'S 67: Rachele Fitz had 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead Marist over St. Peter's in the semifinals in Albany, N.Y.
Nikki Flores added 14 points for the top-seeded Red Foxes (30-2), who beat St. Peter's (19-12) for the third time in 11 days. Marist will play for the title today against second-seeded Iona, which reached the title game with a 74-69 win over Fairfield.
OHIO VALLEYMURRAY STATE 69, E. ILLINOIS 58: Amber Guffey scored 27 points and Ashley Hayes added 17 to lead Murray State to the tournament championship in Nashville, Tenn., and its first NCAA berth.
Guffey, the tournament MVP, scored 12 points in the first half in helping the Racers (24-7) take a 31-21 halftime lead. Rachel Galligan led the Panthers (19-13) with 23 points.
SOUTHERNELON 68, DAVIDSON 49: Kitara McMoore recorded 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead sixth-seeded Elon to an upset of third-seeded Davidson in the tournament quarterfinals in Charleston, S.C.
The sixth-seeded Phoenix (12-19) will play Western Carolina in today's semifinals. The Catamounts won their last meeting, 102-101 in four overtimes.
Davidson (19-11) shot only 19-of-60 from the field. Honna Housley scored 13 points, and Mercedes Robinson had 12 for the Wildcats.
