One lucky gambler walked out of a Las Vegas casino with a big jackpot prize.

The visitor scored $14,442.

They sat at a Cats Wild Serengeti slot machine at the Fremont Hotel & Casino, the casino said in a Nov. 2 post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The player bet 80 cents, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a winning message appeared.

The Fremont Hotel & Casino is in downtown Las Vegas, and its part of the Fremont Street Experience.

Another gambler got lucky at a downtown Vegas casino.

A guest bet $1.76 on a slot machine at the California Hotel & Casino and won over $23,000.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
